We haven't, skill move is now performed by double tapping anywhere on the right hand side of the screen.
Shooting is context sensitive. When pressing shoot your player will aim for the corner of the goal he is facing. The accuracy of his shot is determined by a variety of things, including: How composed on the ball is he, how hard he's trying to kick it, whether he's under pressure from an opposition player etc.
The height of the shot is context sensitive, but the best way to keep your shot low is to just tap the shoot button very quickly.
All heading and kicking is context sensitive. If your player is in a good position to head the ball, and it's in the air, then any of the pass or kick buttons will perform a header. Similarly if the most appropriate action is a volley, he will volley it. Overhead (bicycle) kicks are possible, but only if the situtation is right!
Check you've increased the difficulty level. Go to OPTIONS > SETTINGS and change CPU SKILL.
Spend some time in Training Mode (accessed from Game Modes), here you won't be bothered by the CPU opponents.
No promises, but we're looking into it for a future version of the game.
We hope to have a free local multiplayer update released before the end of the year.
Yes, there should be no problem running X2 Football 2009 with OS 3.0
We're aware of this issue. Unfortunately we did not have access to the 3GS hardware before it was released. We are working on a fix for it right now which we hope to have available very soon.
Try rebooting your iPhone / iPod touch. If that doesn't work, try re-installing or re-downloading.
We've just released a v1.2 update and we are planning another one to be released somewhere around September 09. This will contain bug fixes and some minor feature requests. Watch this space for news of further new versions!
